Former NFL offensive lineman Matt Kalil has seen his legal battle against his ex-wife come to an end after a court dismissed all counts in his lawsuit. The former top draft pick filed the suit against model Haley Kalil following statements she made regarding their personal life and marriage.
The legal dispute stemmed from public comments Haley made online about their relationship and intimate details, which Matt claimed caused him substantial distress. In his official court filings, Matt stated that he was subjected to unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public. He added that members of his family, including his current wife, were forced to endure the ongoing circulation of degrading and deeply personal statements.
Haley Kalil and Matt Kalil originally tied the knot during a ceremony in Hawaii back in 2015. After seven years of marriage, Haley filed for divorce in 2022. The subsequent legal fallout between the former couple drew significant online attention, leading to the lawsuit filed by the former Minnesota Vikings tackle.

The legal proceedings concluded with a complete dismissal of the claims brought against Haley. Her legal representation expressed satisfaction with how the judge handled the case. Haley’s attorney, Matthew Bialick, publicly confirmed that the court had officially dismissed every count against his client.
“I am so relieved this is over,” Haley reacted to the news. “I never wanted to be in a courtroom discussing matters of my own life.
“I think this ruling is important and I hope it encourages women everywhere to speak openly about what they’ve been through. Your story belongs to you and you shouldn’t fear sharing it.”
